Media briefing ahead of latest SA police crime statistics

Media are invited to a pre-briefing by ISS experts to prepare for the annual release of the police crime statistics on 18 September

Police Minister Nkosinathi Nhleko will be releasing South Africa’s 2013/14 national crime statistics on 18 September 2014.

Media are invited to attend a pre-briefing on the crime statistics by the Institute for Security Studies (ISS). Analysts will discuss what they are watching out for in the latest police crime figures.

The briefing will offer expert insights into how to interpret police crime data, and will identify key factors that impact on crime and violence trends in South Africa.
